Thankful for Family

Now I know it isn't Thanksgiving, but I have so much to be thankful for I needed to share. I started a new job almost two months ago that has forced me to be away from home more than I ever wanted especially with a little peanut and a super active doing and saying new things every day little boy, but it's what was required. So needless to say I was worried how we were going to manage it all but I those fears have long been put to rest because of my mother and Bens parents. They have driven, flown and stayed at our house multiple times over the last two months to help out and it has been an enormous help and I can't begin to thank them. The kids have loved it to I think they feel that Grandma, and Jiji and Papster live just down the road which is what I always dreamed they would be. It is never fun to go away but I slept a ton better knowing they were here.
Samuel is doing great, almost fully potty trained except for sleeping at night. Even if you put a diaper on him, he will still wait until you take him to a toilet, and he is independent and thinks he needs no help from us, which is so sad he is growing up to quickly. He is now extremely addicted to basketball and asks us at least 20 times a day "shoot hoops?" "2-points" and when asked he tells you he is a big Bulls fan and is going to be a Hawklette (Rockhurst Prep) player some day.
Sydneyis as amazing as ever, so happy regardless of what we do. Her Jiji and Papster call her big smiles "nose eaters" which is really cute. My mom has even traveled to Omaha with me so that I could bring Sydney with me which has been great. She is rolling both ways and all over the p,ace but if her brother is around she stops and intently stares at him in what seems to be extremely anamored by him. She is now sleeping in her room, no swaddle and for the most part without a pacifier!! This is huge success in our house, but lately she has been having a tough cough so we have tried to do whatever makes her more comfortable. started
